The Vietnamese baguette sandwich is a street food favourite, it's like the fish 'n' chips of Vietnamese meals. Bánh mì (banh mi) is pronounced 'ban mee'. Baguette sandwiches are called bánh mì followed by it's main type of filling, for example the vegetarian one is called bánh mì chay.
